THE WHITE BOARD PROJECT

The event was our first outing and it was a novel event.

Date
: March 2017

Participants: 3 orphanages and 3 schools (total 280)

Objectives Achieved:

-          The event offered an avenue for interaction between the orphans and the students.

-          It helped to emphasize that no matter their (orphans) situation there is hope for every child.

-          The event provided a platform for the children to showcase their talents.

The event was our first outing and it was a novel event. Normally people would go to the orphanages to take pictures with the orphans but KAZIT organized an external venue for the orphans and invited other children to socialize with them. It was also a way of showing the orphans that they are no different from us just because they are orphaned. It was a day of education and entertainment. The kids had opportunities to exhibit and demonstrate their talents. The venue was the Raw Materials Research and Development Council Auditorium, Maitama, Abuja.
